We have aprons for guests to wear, and our DEANE kitchens feature top quality appliances and tools from Sub Zero, Wolf, La Cornue, Wusthof knives and All Clad cookware. We provide all of the food and non alcoholic beverages for your event. Each event lasts between 3-4 hours. Start time is flexible and you can choose from daytime or evening to host your event. Each guest will be given a recipe packet to bring home and show off their new cooking skills with pride.

We will gather the group over beverages and hors d’oeuvres to explain how the evening how will work and break up the group into roughly 3-5 person teams. Then the fun begins, learning new knife skills, learning how to properly sear, properly season and even hone your grilling skills. All the while together as a team you are communicating, laughing, eating great food and creating end experience to last a lifetime.

What Our Clients Are Saying

  • Thank you again for such a wonderful evening at Culinary Works! The feedback from my team was not surprising to me, but I thought I would share it with you. The singular message back to me was that this was the best "business dinner" they had ever experienced. Everyone had a chance to interact with all of their peers (vs. 2-3 people sitting near them at a typical dinner). And, they were impressed by their own ability to actually make a meal (all be it with tons of help). You are running a great business, but it's not a specialty catering/culinary business. It's so much more than that. You are helping people from across the globe to connect with one another in a way they never could in a board room or restaurant. You helped me connect with a new team, and helped them understand one another at a completely different level. For that, we say THANK YOU!!!

  • Thank you, Julia! I’ve been getting so many excellent reviews about our time with you yesterday. Our team has been really busy over the last few months and this was the perfect event to laugh and joke with each other and bring that spirit back to the group. Thank you so much!

  • I took your wonderful Holiday Appetizers Class with Dawn M. a couple of weeks ago and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it! Over Christmas my daughter and I made the apple and brie crostini, the sirloin steak with blue cheese butter, and the chocolate peanut butter bars. All 3 were simply delicious! I can't wait to try the other recipes.

  • Julia, I concur wholeheartedly! You are a natural teaching in the kitchen and being sensitive, respectful, and engaging to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The lessons you shared went well beyond the palate and there was no doubt that every one of the participants enjoyed a very, very special day at Kitchens by Deane. We will send you some photos and post on Facebook shortly. In the meantime we all thank you for your willingness to work with STAR and we look forward to continued growth in the program and partnership. Best regards, Peter Saverine, Director of Philanthropy PS. I thought it was particularly impactful that your son, daughter and husband could be part of the session. It made for a very welcoming, friendly and hospitable setting. I will guess that your children will remember this experience themselves later in their lives and know how they were touched by the new friends they met.
