Kid’s Cooking Camp
[/mk_fancy_title][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1555952533034{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]We’re cooking up delicious eats and sweets all summer long at our Culinary Works cooking camp, with Julia’s daughter and assistant, Chef Brooke.
Each class will focus on a different fun theme in which a variety of skill sets will be taught. Budding chefs will make recipes that are sure to please. From homemade mac and cheese to skillet chicken, cupcakes to brownies, this class is open to students of all levels of experience. In addition to kitchen fundamentals like basic knife skills, how to follow recipes, measuring, mixing, and kitchen safety, kids will learn how to use an assortment of traditional kitchen tools to cook easy, delicious recipes. The week is capped off with a competitive team trip to the grocery store with a given budget to create their best dish back at the showroom. Each team will have their skills put to the test while they get to show off all they have learned.
Each chef will receive their own apron to keep at the end of their session. Additionally, there will be a photo portfolio from the week which will also include a digital recipe booklet.
