Great addition to any meal especially when served hot!

Ingredients

4 Organic Apples, minimum – Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith or a combination
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
Sprinkle of Nutmeg
Sprinkle of Salt
¼ cup Sugar, optional
½-1 cup Water

Directions

1. Rinse each apple and cut into eighths with skin, peels and everything.

2. Place into saucepan with cinnamon, nutmeg and water.  Turn heat to medium high and cover.

3. Once it boils, turn heat down to medium low and continue to cook covered until softened, 5-8 minutes.

4. Scoop apples with a slotted spoon into a food mill, and process. You may need to do in batches, it will leave all skin and seeds behind.

Keep applesauce warm and serve.

If you do not have a food mill, peel and remove seeds and core, and process in a food processor.

Note – add enough water to cover two-thirds of the apples.
