1 lb. shrimp 16-20 count
4 cloves garlic, sliced thin
Salt and Fresh Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
3 tablespoons, butter
2 tablespoons, olive oil
2/3 cup white wine
1 lemon zested
Juice from two lemons
1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley
In a large sauté pan, melt the butter and add the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shrimp, season them generously with salt and pepper. Let them cook for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and once you begin to smell it. Add the wine, let it reduce a bit. Just before the shrimp are done add the parsley, crushed red pepper, lemon zest, juice and a little extra olive oil. Stir everything together and serve with crunchy bread or over a bed of fresh seasoned pasta. Serves 4 first course.
Bread- lightly season your sliced bread pieces with olive oil, salt and pepper. Grill lightly on each side.
